AI Presentation Grader
Practice a DECA role-play out loud and get the event's evaluation form back, scored line by line, with the words that earned each score.
How a practice run works
The same shape as the day: an event, a role-play, the prep clock, then the judge.
- 1
Pick your event
51 DECA events are covered: the Principles events, the Individual Series, team decision making, professional selling, and the presentation half of the written events.
- 2
Get a role-play
Three for each role-play event, 93 in all, written by MCBA in DECA's format. You can bring your own scenario instead.
- 3
Prepare
The event's own prep time, ten minutes for most role-plays and thirty for a team case, with a notes box. The situation is put away when the clock runs out, as it is on the day.
- 4
Present
Live in front of your laptop, where the judge's questions are asked aloud once you finish, or record a video on the page or upload one you made.
- 5
Read your evaluation
The event's evaluation form, every line scored, with the band it landed in, the words from your transcript that earned it, and what would move it up a band.
Scored on DECA's own form
Each event is graded on the form its judges use. This is the Individual Series role-play form.

100 points. Every line falls in one of four bands, Novice, Developing, Proficient or Exemplary, and the total is added up by MCBA's own code, never by the model. Team, Principles, Personal Financial Literacy, selling and prepared events each use their own form; a team case practiced alone is scored for your voice only.
Your recording stays yours
What leaves your device is the text of what you said, not your video.
A recorded video never leaves your device
It is read in your browser. Only the transcript and a few numbers about your delivery, such as your pace and how much you face the camera, are sent for grading.
The camera is off unless you turn it on
In a live run your browser transcribes you as you speak. With the camera on, up to eight stills are analyzed and not kept.
Graded on servers that keep nothing
The grading model runs in the United States on hosts that keep nothing once your run is scored. Your name and email are never sent.
The details, including how long a run is kept, are in the Privacy Policy.
Who can use it
Every Max and Chapter member, two graded role-plays a week.
The grader is a practice partner, not a DECA score: judges at competition apply the same form with their own judgment. MCBA is independent of DECA Inc. How MCBA prepares you for DECA
